Following the aftermath of Swedish House Mafia’s finale, Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell have teamed up to form their own group, which will be known as “Departures”. The news broke just a few hours ago, via Ibiza’s Ushuaïa Beach Hotel‘s Facebook page.
“The rumors are true…Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso have confirmed their new Departures concept will be at Ushuaïa from 12th June every Wednesday. Watch out for the full announcement next week!””
As they are each managed together by ATM, this collaboration comes as no surprise, especially in the wake of their latest track together, “We Come, We Rave, We Love”, which acted as theme song of sorts for Swedish House Mafia’s One Last Tour. Alongside Alesso, Ingrosso and Axwell are also both booked in Las Vegas as residents of the soon-to-open LIGHT nightclub, while Steve Angello has stayed with Wynn Resorts’ XS/Tryst/Surrender/Encore Beach Club properties.
